Using Idealist safely

We've done our best to make Idealist Kids & Teens a fun, safe place for young people to take action on issues important to them. Even so, we recommend you always be a "smart surfer" when you use Idealist and the internet in general. Below we'll tell you more about our privacy and safety policies and we'll also point you to a few websites with tips about using the internet safely.



Your privacy is really important to us

Your visit to Idealist Kids & Teens is completely private. We do not collect any information about people who use this site, nor do we offer bulletin boards, chat rooms, or any other means by which someone else might collect information about you. Be assured that if you sign up to receive our newsletters, we will not share your email address with anyone.

Please note, however, that Idealist Kids & Teens contains links to many other websites. These websites, all of which have been reviewed by our staff, may have their own newsletters, bulletin boards, chat rooms, and other features. You should always be careful when using any of these tools. No matter what you do, never meet with someone you've met online without being accompanied by a parent or guardian.
