What is Idealist's Event Management System?

By posting events on Idealist, groups or nonprofit organizations have the option of using our free Event Management System which allows you to automatically keep track of events that you are hosting. Features of this system include:
Online registration for participants
Email notification when an event has reached capacity (your organization specifies how many people may attend); the system automatically creates a waiting list for any additional individuals who sign up
Automatic creation of waiting lists so that when people cancel, individuals are automatically moved from the waiting list to the registration list and are emailed about their change in status
24 hour access to view the registration lists within your account
Speakers archive where you may display biographies of current speakers as well as save them for future use
