I grew up in a multi-cultural family, and have been a "natural helper" all of my life. I'm grateful for the many rich and varied opportunites that came my way: I served 8 years in the U.S. Army as a dental assistant, then engineer/ cartographer. Stationed in Germany, I travelled to 13 countries and met wonderful people everwhere I went.
Though I began my college studies as a social work student, I changed strategies to help folks proactively by teaching. (I am credentialled for K-12 and currently teach ESL Citizenship at a local adult school. ) I am healthy, flexible and interested in learning new things so I can help where most needed.
